What ceramic tint does

More than dark glass.

Ceramic tint is chosen for performance, not just appearance. Its nonmetallic construction is designed to manage solar energy without relying on a mirror-like or metallic finish.

01

Heat & infrared control

Ceramic film targets the energy that makes a parked or sun-soaked cabin uncomfortable. Performance varies by film and shade, so the best choice is matched to your glass and goals.

02

UV filtering

Helps reduce exposure that contributes to interior fading and skin damage during everyday driving.

03

Reduced glare

Softens harsh sunlight and headlight glare while the chosen shade controls how much visible light enters.

04

Clear connectivity

Nonmetallic ceramic construction is a smart choice around phones, GPS, radio, and modern vehicle electronics.

05

A factory-clean appearance

Choose anything from a subtle, nearly clear windshield film to a privacy-focused side-window shade. The result is fitted to the glass—not cut like a generic accessory.

Choose by performance

Carbon vs. ceramic tint

Both options can deliver privacy, glare reduction, UV filtering, and a finished look. Ceramic is the performance upgrade for customers who want stronger heat management without simply choosing a darker shade.

Visible light transmission

Understand the shade number.

VLT describes how much visible light passes through the film and glass. Lower numbers look darker; higher numbers look lighter. Existing factory glass changes the final measured result.

Important:

Shade appearance varies with lighting, interior color, factory glass, and film construction. Availability and legal use vary by window and vehicle. We help you choose an option that matches your goals and applicable requirements.

Coverage options

No public price chart because every quote is based on the actual vehicle, current film, glass layout, and requested coverage.

01

Two front windows

Match the front doors closer to rear factory privacy glass or upgrade daily comfort up front.

03

Windshield film

Light ceramic options focus on heat and UV control while preserving a cleaner, lighter appearance where permitted.

04

Windshield strip

A precise visor band that targets overhead glare and gives the front glass a sharper look.

05

Remove & replace

Old, purple, bubbling, damaged, or excessively dark film is removed before a fresh installation.

06

Custom combination

Mix side-window, rear-glass, windshield, and visor-strip coverage around how you actually use the vehicle.

The LMP install

Clean work starts before the film.

Professional results come from preparation, controlled handling, accurate fitment, and a final inspection—not just laying film on glass.

01

Vehicle review

Confirm glass condition, factory privacy glass, electronics, existing film, shade goals, and requested coverage.

02

Protect & prepare

Protect nearby surfaces, clean the glass and edges, and remove contamination that could show under the film.

03

Shape & install

Prepare the film for each window, control edges and seals, and install with a clean, even finish.

04

Inspect & hand off

Check coverage, edges, visibility, and moisture evacuation, then explain cure time and aftercare.

After installation

Let the film cure.

  • Keep the windows raised for the time given at pickup.
  • Temporary haze, moisture pockets, or a slightly cloudy look can be normal during curing.
  • Use an ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft microfiber towel after curing.
  • Avoid picking at edges, stickers, suction cups, or sharp objects on the film.

Straight answers

Window tint questions

These are the details customers usually want to know before choosing film or booking.

Ask a Different Question
What makes ceramic tint different?

Ceramic film uses nonmetallic ceramic technology to improve heat and infrared control while adding glare reduction, UV filtering, privacy, and a clean appearance.

Does darker tint always block more heat?

No. Darkness describes visible light transmission, while film construction determines much of the heat performance. A lighter ceramic film can outperform a darker basic film.

Can you tint the windshield?

Windshield film and visor-strip options depend on the vehicle, the desired result, and applicable requirements. We review the correct option before installation.

Can you match factory privacy glass?

We can recommend a front-door shade intended to create a more consistent appearance. Factory privacy glass and added film behave differently, so an exact match is not always possible.

Can old tint be replaced?

Yes. Condition, adhesive, defroster lines, and removal time are inspected first because damaged or aged film changes the work required.

Why do I see moisture after installation?

Installation solution needs time to leave the film. Light haze or moisture pockets can be normal during curing and usually improve as the film dries.
